A similar schedule might tie your neck, it is also the routine of life and structure of your mindset to work. We are free from all of these routines, it might affect your mentality negatively or positively.
Now how you have your mentality for work rest in the same space? Home office and working from home are not all about space, but your responsibility and mentality.
Making office space in a home is not just about how you use your home, even though the workplace practically can be replaced from office to home. Combining two spaces arises confusion from the dwellers’ bodily experience which is perceiving and engaging in space with multisensory. If you are using your room or entire home as a workspace, the boundaries of the space can be blurred from the memory resistance of traces, objects, or imagination of the home. (Wapshott and Mallett, 2011) And this experience links to the problem of imbalance work and rest life. The new routine or home rituals are needed for managing your life and protecting your mentality. This is for doing on and off for work and rest.
We are controlled by rule and our own rule be a routine and ritual by practicing. As furniture functioned to support people's life, and it actually shapes people's life, I think furniture might be equipment as a routine maker.
