4th Phase - Drawing and thinking on Wearable Architecture [Office look]
How can design become a tool to interrupt or break cultural rules of use of place and find our new possibility for a new normal life?
A research project by Suyeon Lee exploring new normal as escaping from the past 'day schedule' which the working life made.
Wearable architecture - wearable office. Questioning on how we live and how we work.
All of this reminds me of what would be office and workers' office look.
The combination of those two words made radical thinking on how we live and how we work.
I would like to make a firm scheduler of life and the set schedule of work made my daily cycle. But now I am looking forward to the life that I create. How we manage our life in space will be the big culture post-pandemic. This is because people are looking forward more flexible working life with time and space. I have been suffered to hold my self into normal but I would like to meet new normal with this portable object. This portable office means flexibility in your life cycle. Working outside definitely give restriction to you to work like in past. This is not fit for an 8-hour straight working life. Rather this office means that you can manage your life with specific time and flexible space. This shape your working life with Where you go could be office even it is interspaced between buildings or street or a park.
*How I made the psychologically supported space for working anywhere? *How office could be portable and small architecture for working outside?
I question myself to what design can role in this world that space does not important role than (What) possibility. I try to see the object as space and turn it into a new place for work. And this phase I find out some of 거부감 from my action, but I want to try to find out that what makes limitation or restriction of my behaviour.
